🍿 Ro & The Stardust is a space fantasy short film that follows a teen and her terminally ill grandmother as they build a rocket ship they plan to launch to outer space. Film by Eunice Levis, a writer, director, and first-generation Dominican American from The Bronx, New York.
🍿 Black Girl is about a young Senegalese woman who moves to France to work for a wealthy white family and finds that life in their small apartment becomes a prison, both figuratively and literally. Film by Ousmane Sembène, the most renowned African director of the twentieth century.
